Chrome to mark more HTTP websites as “Not secure” in October

In January, Google began to mark HTTP pages in their Chrome browser as “Not secure” if they have password or credit card fields. Now they are telling the community that beginning October 2017, Chrome will show the “Not secure” warning in two additional situations: when users enter data on an HTTP page, and on all HTTP pages visited in Incognito mode. While this in itself won’t make the web more secure, it will educate people when their browsing is not secure and may be intecepted.

Eventually Chrome will show the “Not secure” warning for all HTTP pages.
